I needed just a quick look at something else. So I decided to quickly do some of my beautyful sister, enjoy.

After the fun part comes editing...

Last Saturday Philippe and I had the opportunity to be wedding photographers for the first time. As you can assume we were quite nervous as Philippe only shoot a few years ago a civil wedding and I did not even that. We took tons of pictures, to be true more than 3000 in total. But we wanted to be sure not to miss any of the important moments and luckily we did not too bad. After the hours of shooting the work is not nearly done. Now it is proof and editing time. This will take me some more days if not weeks. I defenitely need to work on my workflow...

Sunday I had the pleasure to take pictures of two super sweet couples. Enjoy.

1.8. = Swiss National Day

Yes today we celebrate Switzerland as it is our national day. Really cool to have a day off. Especially if the weather is as nice as today! Phil and I enjoyed our day going up to the Brienzerrothorn in the Bernese Alps. It was just so cool and we were lucky to enjoy the wonderful sight and ourselves.

What'zzzz up?

Actually there is not too much up at the moment. I am really looking forward to the wedding which I will shoot in two weeks together with my husband. This will be exciting and a huge challenge. But I am confident that we will get niiiice pictures.

I read Harry Potter last weekend and love it. I think beside book 1 this is the best one. J.K. Rowling you rule! The only sad thing after the long waiting is that there will be no sequel, but I also believe it is better to end at one point than to write and end with just blah.

Other than this I started serius blog stalking, lol. Especially [b]eckers and Jessica Claires blog. There is just so much valuable information on their blogs that I am addicted. And they and their friends are just such awesome photogs. Just pure inspiration heaven for little Miss Linder.

3rd Wedding Anniversary

We celebrated yesterday and today (yes, twice! you may know husband and wife do not always have the same wedding day... especially as here in Switzerland the official wedding is not the same as the ceremony in the church. So we wed twice once at the civil registry office and once in the church 25/26.6.04). And my supestar of a husband suprised me! I had no clue he prepared an overnight stay at the place where we had our church wedding (http://www.schlossmuenchenwiler.ch). It was just the perfect getaway. Super delicous food, a very nice suite to sleep in (with a bath tube in the rooom itself...), wonderful breakfast buffet... just a dream. I just loved it!

Finally back...

Two weeks? How could that have happened... No, I know how. I really was just too busy. But now it will be better for a while. Even tough I am so unbeleavable behind with proofing and posting. SORRY GUYS and GALS

Just a little note that I am alive and busy. Tomorrow finally our preparations for our customer event meet the end and the hard work as well the fun part begin. Looking forward to it and honestly also to its end. An almost endless time of preparation with many struggles is really taking on our nerves... Further "the light" workshop started and I LOVE it, it is really awesome and I am sooo eager to learn all the new techniques. There are so many talented people in there, just aaaawww.

Here's my attempt on our first assignment. Defently improvable but I think for the first attempt not tooo bad...

Behind

I am sooooo behind... with almost everything I am doing, aaargh. Still have about 3 sessions to proof (said that I have already done 3 this week). Just can't get out of the feeling to be behind. Why's that?. I know that there is just a little more to go to than 1 week till the biggest work event SCC is going on. Can't believe how the time is just flying. Next week will be really a tough one and also the week after. But then I hope that I may finally be able to take a few days off. And what I am especially looking forward is my photoworkshop with Christof Engeli (he was the photographer of our wedding). So excited about it and can't wait til 20.6.. Otherwise the light workshop finally started and I guess it will be a tough one to catch up with all these things going on. The week after SCC will be anyway packed. I will have 3 shootings this week, kind of cool, ha? But the good thing I get also a few things done e.g. the proofing and at least I am somewhat not behing my Heidi Swapp class, posted my May Layout on the 31st, haha.

Sneak Peak for S.

Saturday I had the pleasure to do a second photoshooting of my dear friend S. She is so beautyful even with the huge bump she is currently carrying around :) And I was so happy to have finally a reason to use my 5d! I love, love, love, love this camera. Not that the 400d does bad pictures, it is just different and i am in love with it.

It arrived!

I am now the proud owner of a 5d (ok technically i was it from the moment I made the payment, I know, but now as I hold the camera in my hands I really belive I own it). And she is so fantastic! Such a difference to the 400d (which I still love as she is my first camera love). I am so giddy to shoot something but sadly there was not much to capture (husband and tomcat both disappeared in the second my camera hung around my neck, how come?)

Have to say this is really a cool week so far! Just finished the proofing of two sessions (still 3 to go...), got my 5d, 2 thunderstorms (love them, but only when I'm save at home) and the best of it, my husband cooked for me on Monday for Lunch! Super delicous pasta with salmon sauce, loved it. Really hope he's surprising me some more with his superyummy food *wink*. And the week is still going on, next Monday is off due to a holiday means already a good start for next week and some more time for me to get some proofing done...
