This afternoon I visited Family J. They are all so cute and lovely. And as we currently enjoy sunny summer weather (28°C) they offered me Lemon sorbet, so yummy especially when it is this hot. And it tastes even better with some Cola to drink - if you never had it, try it it is supper yummy.
During my visit I snapped some cute pictures of Annika and Nora. They are really super sweet and so cute to watch.
some pics of my lovely sisters. I know, i know another model would be good for a change. But you know, she's such a cutie and actually there is mostly no one else availabe. But I promise that this week will follow some pics of my upcoming shootings. And tried again sunflare/backlight & co. It is now working better but I look so much forward to the light workshop...
Yesterday I had my first try on a Baby shooting. And I have to admit this is quite hard to do! Praise for those who are master in it.
It is much harder than the shootings I did with my sister, but I loved it anyway. And I guess with some more practise it will get easier and more natural. I especially noticed that I lacked of experience on how to pose him.
Out of the many I did I got a few shots I really like. And Gianluca is such a little cuddlebug, don't you agree?
Finally I post more pictures of my cutiepie siter (ok, ok I admit it, a lot of pictures...). She is just georgous don't you think too? Saturday I will have my first shooting so need to practise some more tomorrow. ..
Love the evening sunlight and sunflare. Would really love to know how to do them correctly. So I tried a little bit around with my sister and the new lens. Guess for a start not too bad... The biggest problem I face is the focus. Due to the sun the camera seems not to be able to focus so I tried manual focus. But on the small display it is quite hard to see how sharp the picture really is...

never write your index file with a big letter in the beginning. NOT WORKING. Had to learn it the hard way. (means lack of sleep, nerve wrecking e-mail contact with provider etc.).

I wrote on Sunday my site is alive. It already died again. Tried yesterday to updated it as it had a few spelling mistakes and I wanted to make the font a little bit bigger... and then I uploaded all my files again as I did on Sunday. And then guess what, nothing, rien, niente, nada. The thing is not working anymore. Tried it a million times upload, delete, reupload. Generated all the files several times, upload, delete, reupload, still not working. I am so pissed of this, what the hell did I wrong??? I really can't see it. Sent now a trouble ticket to my provider really hope they may help me. The funny thing is if you try to load the flash file directly the site works, so the file is up, the index file is right but somewhat it hates me.

This is me testing my new lens. Don't I look just absolutely fab?
I am so in love with the new lens... I did not do any photoshopping on them and they look like this. It's just pure heaven. Guess there you can see the real difference between a cheap and a good lens... (or maybe after some practicing I am finally making progress, your decision).
The only problem I face is that Lucky is not willing to pose anymore. Today he run away as soon I came close with the camera... Damn, guess I really cracked him up already.
At least I was lucky to do this shot yesterday. Really love it and certainly adore my lazy tomcat.

I am so lucky! My husband bought yesterday a new lens , 50mm 1:4! And this lense is just freaking cool! I was really, really surprised about this move. We just decided to bring his old analog SRL to a photostore to see what we could get for it. And when we were there he said we are looking for a new lens... I was like WHAT? Wanted to dance around but in the public people tend to look strangely when you do that. I then had to decide between the 50mm 1:4 and the 60mm Makro lens. Real tough decision but I think for the moment I am served better by the 50. Just so happy about this and thank, thank, thank you so much my DH you are the best!
I am so happy that my sister said yes when I asked her to make some pictures of her. It helps me so much when I can try out what settings work, what apperture I have to use and just may reset and reshoot if necessery. I am also a tiny little bit proud of me as I really think I am making slowly progress. And with each shooting we do I get more and more confident and I have to say I even made some pictures I truly love.
yeah today is so much better, more spring feelings around.
And I was totally right about the movie. Really boring one, even do not remember the name of it. We went home during the break... guess this says enough.

Today I feel lacking everyting. Motivation, power and joy. Would really love to dive back under the duvet and hope that tomorrow will be better.
I should create some birthday cards for our company but I have no idea how they should look like. We have really strange color palette we use for our products and corporate things, so I feel not really motivated by those. And I really lack to think out of the box today. I anyway think it is a strange idea to have company birthday cards... but this is not my decision.
What else, so tonight go for another surprise movie. Really hope it is better than the last one but I think chances are not that high with those surprise movies that there will run something I like (ok, I admit I am a typical women who prefers those easy-peasy-romantic-comedies). AND I am actually still preparing for the launch of my business. Really excited about it and sooo hoping this will turn out fine. Need some help of friends till everything is ready but at least the start is done and things started rolling, even tough I have to admit quire low.
