Do you know Barb already? If not her site is really must to visit. She is an extraordinary photographer! And she also offers very cool Actions on this site http://www.ittybittyactions.com/. I use them as much as possible because they really give the photos a wonderful extra kick. They are so worth their moey. And also because of these actions I became more interested in the curves and levels which photoshop offers, a thing I am now using all the time and really love to play around.

I hope that I can attend the photography workshop she offers that maybe one day I will be able to take as cool pictures as Barb or Tara.

How sweet is that...?

I just came home from a accupuncture treatment and when I turned my PC screen on I had a supercute message of my husband:

First there was a supercute picture of him in a word document (I think he prefers when I do not post his face here, even the temptation is huge). Below was a comment to scroll down where the following was written:

"Dear Jeanine
I am at school and writing a strategie test. This even the most important strategy in my life already worked out.... I hope I wil soon be home to warm me up at your body. Kisses on your scrapbook-ass.
your xxx"

isn't that just tooo cute? I was really touched by this cute surprise.

Sick

I am sick. It is really bad timing but I am sick. Feel sooo tired and have a sore throat...
But nevertheless I have to work and prepare for our fair. Hope this stupid sickness is soon over. Need now really all my forces to work and also to go on with my targets for this year. Will post some more pics later today.

Heidi Swapp BSP class

So here is a picture of my calendar we had to decorate for the class.
I really like how it turned out.

Do you like chocolate?

I do, I really do... and therefore I am almost addicted to these chocolate cakes (they are liquid in the middle):



Try them out yourselves and let me know if you liked them.
You need:

2 eggs
125g butter or margarine
125g chocolate
40g all purpose flour
30g sugar

Put together the eggs and the sugar. Stir till it has a light yellow color. Put aside.
Take a pan and put in chocolate and butter. Melt both and merge with the egg/sugar. Add flour and fill in cups. Bake at 180° for about 6 minutes and enjoy when still warm!

TiVo

Wohoo, today we bought a new TiVo and it is freakin cool. Hope that the famous HDTV is soon running everywhere... as now we finally could receive it.

Otherwise, yesterday was quite a cool day. Met a very good friend of mine and I handed her a bag as birthday gift. I think she really liked it. That makes me happy. Then in the office still troubled times ahead as the preparations for the exhibition are still not finished. Soo loking forward when this whole thing is over.

Later today we will have Fondue, hmmm. Love it. Typically Swiss and so yummy. Especially when it is snowing outside.

Comments, packages and a worse day

First of all thank you for your comments! I just noticed that I have to approve them... I must change that, so they appear directly when you write them. Sorry for that, but guess that just prooves that I am really new to the blogging stuff. And thanks again for commenting. It is so cool to see that people out there in the big wide world are actually reading what I am writing.
And to answer your question Lisa. No, I did unfortunately not attend Shimelles class (could not afford it as I just paid the Heidi clss, lol). I just started end of November to think what I could write about in the upcoming 24 days til Christmas and started it all by myself. A good way for me to prepare the sites was to search the internet, you get tons of ideas. And why notn prepare your journal for next year even now?

And about my morning post, damn was I wrong! Since today I am now definitively sure that the 23rd is for sure not the worst of days. So far it is today. First of all I have a hell of a lot to do in the office. Soon our biggest fair, the 3GSM (a huge fair in Barcelona where the whole world of telecommunications meets), takes place. Therefore we have a lot to organise. And almost everything messed up today. Bags we ordered will not be delivered, Laptop batteries died and we had to order new ones, I noticed that I forgot to order CD cases... But The worst thing I had to do today was to transfer data into new business cards. Sounds not to hard to do, but the list was a huge mess and I really god brain ache of it. Hate that. Then I wanted to pick up some diet cat food for my tomkat which is sick. But the doctor we usually go is on holiday, the other close by was closed. So had to find another one urgently. Luckily I found one and my kitty is happy.

The good thing about today? My package from my Heidi Swapp class on BPS arrived. It is sooo cool and I am really happy I subscribed to this class. It is not yet a month sinc the class started but I already feel so different and HAPPIER. Do not know if it is Heidis spirit or what but I am grateful for it.

Snow

Finally Winter also arrived in Switzerland. Yesterday it snowed almost the whole day. It is so wonderful to see the world covered in white. And now I see the first glimpses of the sun in a beatuyful peachy color. This will be certainly a good day!

Tuesday

Just heard today in the radio that this should be the worst day of the year. Can't really believe it. But according a science formula it must be today. Ah well, guess sience does not work for everybody then.

What else? Yesterday used the other lens on the camera. Really cool to see the difference. I also learned that I am not to much into the macro lens. At least when it comes to shoot in our appartment... but that's anyway not what the lense is for, no? Will probably post some more pics tonight.

HAPPY

I am just plein happy! I got an amazing gift on Saturday, the Canon EOS 400D or also known as Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi. It is the first SRL camera for me at all and I am just amazed.

As you can imagine I was just shooting around almost the whole weekend. So I have to upload some pictures that you can see what amazing pics this camera is shooting.

With this happy news (at least for me) I wish you a happy start in the new week!

Getting blogging...

Wohooo, my first blogging post on my own blogspot. How fun is this?

Ok, maybe I am a little bit late starting blogging. The hype might have already past the peek and I am just getting started... but so what. This blog will be just for me to remind me to keep some kind of diary besides the regular scrapbooking.

Who knows maybe I will even get some fans of my own, lol.
