Hellooo, yes I'm still alive and well... I was quite busy with a few projects where I'm unfortunately not allowed to show you pics. But there are still a few sessions in the pipeline of which I may show you some pics soon. Other than this there is a lot going on in my life currently and hopefully I can show you soon what earth changing things are happening in the spectacular life of Jeanine L.

Look at the shootsac site. What a lovely Sunday morning surprise! It is an unbelievable honor to be named on Jessica Claire's Shootsac site. She is one of my favorites photographers ever and I blogstalk her blog daily. And what to say about her Shootsac. I love, love, love my shootsac(s) so very much (yes we have two, one for me and one for my husband). My Shootsac is a must part of every shooting I do - it's stylish, spaceous and so practical to carry all my lenses I need. Now I will be even more stylish with one more cover to show off.
Here are the pictures of the engagement session I was able to shoot during St. Stephans day. I love, love this winter pictures so very much. And it helped that the two are just easy to capture and awesome people. I will create their wedding invitation with some of these pictures and without being narcistic the card will be stellar!

First of all a belated happy new year. I wish you all the best and hope you may have a year to remember in 2008!
Now back to business, this is the slideshow für J. and her gang. She has two awesome dogs, a pony and a horse. You will see all of them in the slideshow. Even tough we had some bad luck that afternoon (her car broke and we could not find out for what reason) I have to say the light was georgeous no matter what and provided us therefore some nice winter pictures.

This is the slideshow of Family W. They are one of the cutest familie living on this planet. Look at the girls they are just made to cuddle the whole time. And they are all so extremely photogenic! But have a look yourself:
and I enjoyed it so much. The past few years it became more of a burden than a real joy. But this year it was again the family gathering I was hoping for it. And I think for the first time in my life I got just amazing gifts! Thank you all so much for the well thought and really adorable gifts I received. I am looking much forward to use them.
As we started celebrating early this time we had the 25th off so Philippe and I enjoyed a very beautyful day on the top of the Alps. I'm not really a landscape photographer but I like the sunflare I got. Ah and yes, the thing with the with glasses and the hot cocoa is me...
Ok it's officially Saturday, nevertheless I post the next slideshow. It's the civil winter wedding of Family H. Winter weddings are always special (and there are not too many of them). Even we do not get snow down here we can be very happy it's not raining. In the opposit they were extremely regarding their weather. But I assume good people get good weather on their wedding day, no?
Shortly before Christmas I have to post some more slideshows. I am still working on a few sessions, here is the first one I finished. The slideshow of lovely Miss N. She is a shining star and was a real pleasure to work with.
you may wonder. Oh, the answer is not exciting at all. First I had almost a week I just worked on several projects till I was able to enjoy a very nasty flue. Ok, yes it was not a real pleasure and I'm still suffering from the afterpains but I at least feel slowly better. And besides this I had quite many photoshoots which I have to admit I am still working on developing the pictures. But they will be worth to wait, here is a first little sneak for N. just to make the waiting a little more endurable.
I believe in photography. And not only because I am a photographer. I truly believe in capturing moments and preserve them for our families. Who does not like to strive trough the family photos and remember when they have been snapped? Even you din't like the picture in the time they have been made, a few years later you will treasure them anyway. That's exactly why portrait pictures are a perfect gift for christmas (and also for any other occasion). Parents, Grandparents, sibligns and close friends will love to have a nice picture of their beloved ones!
I believe that especially here in Switzerland people have still to focus more on the saving of memories. And photography is just a perfect way to do.
And as an example how portraits could look like have an eye on the pictures of beautyful K. sisters.

This is my Advent project. I try to write something everyday. It can either be about the day or about christmas itself. I also try to snap some pictures and add to this Advent album. Here is the template album for my project.
I do! And there is a very simple reason why you should too - backups save our life. I mean how much valuable information do you store on your PC/MAC day by day? I defenitely do a lot!
And now you are asking why I talk about this? Today my computer crashed, it was not even starting anymore... (and it is still not starting). I really do not know why, maybe a virus maybe some other reason. Lucky (or smart, this is up to you) as I am I store essential data (like customer files/pictures)on external drives and so I'm saved for most parts this time. The worst thing happened due to this crash is that I lost ALL my e-mails! And there was some information on my C which I may not get back again. I just wanted to backup my C this week, but as usual if you don't do it when you think at it you forget to do it til it's to late. - So if you think you should backup your PC or MAC do it, do it right now. It may save your life...
Remember this post? I orderd it and it arrived yesterday. So within a few weeks our family grew by two magic lenses. And there are some more family members out there, begging for my money, lol.
Besides this amazing lens I got another gadget:
so fun to play with and the best thing is, it combines a mobile phone, music player and a camera in one thing. The camera is really not to bad, up to ISO800 and 5MB Pixel. And besides all his nice features it just looks stylish and classy. What could a girl ask more from a phone?
It's official now, my husband is Nr. 1!
He made the best result at the exam for sales managers. Means out of over 200 people who did this exam he was the best. I knew before he's smart but now it's official that he's not only smart but at least the smartest sales manager 07/08, haha. Congratulations again to you, you deserve it!
